- USG will reimburse retirees for the full amount of any Medicare Part D copayment and coinsurance expenses incurred in the catastrophic phase of coverage for prescription drug covered under Medicare Part D. Retirees with an extremely high usage of prescription drugs may reach the Medicare Part D catastrophic coverage limit. To help these retirees, USG has created a special program called the Catastrophic HRA.
- Your USG Retiree Health Reimbursement account (HRA) with Your Spending Account includes a “rollback” feature, which allows for claims to be reimbursed as long as the date of service occurs within the effective date of your HRA and there is a remaining balance in your account. Claims that were previously denied due to your exhausting your remaining HRA balance will be automatically approved by YSA once allocations for the new year have been added to your USG Retiree Health Reimbursement Account (HRA).
